Montgomery County, Maryland 

The Montgomery County, Maryland government chose ALTA to support its Oracle ERP implementation, which replaced legacy systems and added a 311 system.

Background

Montgomery County initiated an $80M project to replace its legacy systems in Finance, Human Resources, Time and Attendance systems. At the same time, a non-emergency 311 system was planned to increase services to constituents.

The Oracle E-Business Suite was chosen as the ERP platform to replace the legacy systems. The magnitude of the retooling effort required outside expertise in a number of areas across the organization, including change management skills to accelerate system acceptance and usage.

Results

The program and deployment of the new systems was on time and on budget. ALTA was chosen to provide critical support in the following areas:
