ALTA is frequently called upon by our government contractor clients to partner with them on request for proposals to demonstrate staffing abilities to fill critical staffing needs. We provide three primary options to all of our clients for IT staffing solutions:
A contract position is often based around a project, which may range from several weeks to several months or even longer. ALTA works closely with our client to identify and hire the individual who possesses skills well-suited to perform the identified tasks. ALTA bills the client at an hourly rate for as long as the employee works on the project.
During the length of the assignment, the individual works as an employee of ALTA. While on assignment, ALTA is responsible for the employee’s management, provides employee benefits and all other employer responsibilities. This service allows our clients to quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively, meet peak demand with highly skilled professionals, on a contract basis.
A contract-to-hire position is normally an opportunity which may lead to full-time employment with the client. ALTA works closely with our client to identify and hire the individual with skills well-suited to perform the identified tasks. During the contract period, ALTA employs the individual and provides ALTA benefits.
Our clients have time to evaluate the employee during a contract period, prior to making a commitment to hire the employee directly. During the contract period, ALTA charges the client an hourly rate, which includes the fee to hire. At the end of the contract period, the client may hire the ALTA employee with no additional fee.
ALTA works closely with our client to identify candidates who fit the profile of the position and who have the desire to become part of the client’s direct team. ALTA screens and interviews the candidates, charging the client a one-time fee when a candidate is hired.
